Outdoor Rules
- 18 players can register in a team and Each Team can have maximum 11 players and a minimum of 7 players to start a match.
- The game will be 20 overs One bowler is allowed to bowl a maximum of 4 overs.
- Teams will have to provide the names of the playing eleven before the game to the umpires. Failing to do so, 1 points will be deducted and 1 over from their next game. Second time offense will have tougher deductions.
- Matches will be played from one end of the wicket.
- There will be power play of 6 overs per innings. Power play will be taken place at the first 6 overs and during which, teams can have only two fielders outside the inner circle.
- Fielding restrictions Max five fielders to stand on the leg side & Max five fielders on off side but slip is not included.
- Teams can’t reschedule the match to any other weekend. Only during unforeseen circumstances, committee can decide on any schedule change.
- The BCLT Cricket League panel / umpires will decide the number of overs in a match, if affected by rain. If 8 overs have already been bowled in the second inning and game has to be stopped due to any reason (can’t be continued at any other ground), then run rate at the end of that over will be counted and compared against the opposite team’s run rate . If they are same, then number of wickets lost at that point by each team will be So teams should make sure to enter runs and wickets at the end of each over in the score sheet.
- A fielder is not allowed to stand in line with the bowler or the wicket keeper, in such an event the umpire shall call it a NO-BALL
- If the keeper moves after the bowler starts his run-up, the umpire can call it a NO BALL.
- A substitute can be used on the field only after the first 5 overs, a compromise can be reached under special circumstances if the opposing captain and umpires agree.
- A substitute is not allowed to bowl or bat.
- As per the new ICC rule, runner for the batsman won’t be allowed.
- Only a batsman can object to the bowling action (chucking) of a bowler. The Umpire and Leg umpire can decide.
- The keeper will be allowed to wear gloves and not allow the fielders.
- Runs scored will be same as in normal cricket game with runs scored by running between the wickets and in boundary of 4 & 6. The boundaries will be defined at the venue.
- As in normal cricket game wide balls & no balls will fetch an extra run to batting team and an extra ball to be bowled by the bowler.
- Arguments with the umpire or other misbehavior may be penalized by 1 over penalty to the team for that match.
- Only team captains may converse with the umpires regarding any issues of the match.
- Any ball down the leg side of the wicket will be a WIDE ball.
- Any ball that will come straight to the batsman without a bounce above the waist will be a NO ball.
- One legal bouncer of legitimate height will be allowed per over, additional bouncers of legitimate height will be considered NO balls.
- There will be a free hit, if there is a front foot crease no ball bowled by the bowler. During the free hit, bowling team can’t change the field settings. i.e. it has to be the same as the last delivery (where no ball bowled).
- No Leg -byes.
- Umpire can give any ball down the leg side a wide.
- There will be runs for Byes and Overthrow runs.
- Winner of the match will be given 2 points and the loser will get 0 points.
- In case of a drawn game, there will be a SUPER-OVER to determine the winner. The team who is batting second will bat first in the super-over. Bowling side will designate ONLY one bowler to bowl that supper over, and batting side will name TWO players to bat during that super-over. Once, ONE batsmen will get out, the super-over will be finished regardless of the number of balls remaining in that over. In the event that the game is still tied, an extra super-over will be played until a winner is determined.
- If a player is found using bad language against the opposition or having bad conduct like indulging in personal/physical abuse, the captains can raise the issue with organizers. Organizers after consulting with neutral umpires will decide on the issue. If found guilty player can be suspended from a game or tournament. If team members repeat the offense then captain/ the whole can be suspended from BCLT. Committee’s decision will be final on that.
- Five Star Club cannot be held responsible for any Injuries caused to the players in what so ever manner during the tournament.
- All matches are slated to start at 7:30 am sharp.
Indoor Rules
SUPER 6 CRICKET TOURNAMENT RULES
- Seven players can register in a team and there will be six players in each team of a match.
- Only the registered players will play until the end of the game. Registered players are those who are listed in the registration form.
- In a match, each team is allow to bowl 6 Every player in a team has to bowl one over.
- Umpire will disqualify the bowlers who make 3 continuous NO/ wide in an overs.
- If any player is injured during the game, then seventh player can take his place but he has to participate in all the reaming game for that team. Injured player will not allowed coming back for the rest it the tournament.
- A batsman must retire “not out” on reaching a personal score of 15 runs, but may return to continue his innings if last pair of batsmen is out before the completion of six overs.
- The umpire is authorized to intervene in case of, Time wasting, unfair bowling & Bowler long run up.
- Score will be added, or if he is able to run additional runs past 15, they will also count.
- A batsman cannot retire before reaching 15 runs, except through a serious injury.
- If a batsman is injured during the game, a runner may be employed subject to the umpire’s approval.

- The Leg-Umpire has to make a decision on chucked ball by the bowler. Chucked ball will be a no ball.
- Every team will play against each other, that mean each team will get to play 3 games.
- In case of a drawn game, there will be a SUPER-OVER to determine the winner. The team who is batting second will bat first in the super-over. Bowling side will designate ONLY one bowler to bowl that supper over, and batting side will name TWO players to bat during that super-over. Once, ONE batsmen will get out, the super-over will be finished regardless of the number of balls remaining in that over. In the event that the game is still tied, an extra super-over will be played until a winner is determined.
- The Final match will be based on best of two. Each team will play 5/6 In case of tie the wining team will be determine on the base of Super Over, and the SUPER OVER will be of 1 Over all 6 balls of over can be attempted until last player. Power play will be taken place at the last over.
STRICT TIME MANAGEMENT RULE
- Total time for a 12 over game is 36 minutes and each team will have 18 min to complete 6
- If the first bowling team takes to longer than 18 min. Bowling team will be penalized by reaching their batting team by that many number of bowls.
- If the second bowling team goes over the 18min limit then they will be penalized by 2 runs for each bowl exeanted over the time limit.
- There will be no switching of players among the team.
- 5 minutes late arrival will cause lose of one over. If any team will be arriving 10 minutes late then others team will get 2 points. Late coming team will lose the match.
